OUR GOAL IS TO COLLABORATIVELY ENSURE THAT YOU FEEL SAFE AND SECURE SO TOGETHER WE CAN NAVIGATE THE COMPLEXITIES OF OUR “NEW NORMAL.”  HERE ARE SAFETY MEASURES WE’VE IMPLEMENTED FOR OUR REOPENING:

OUR SAFETY COMMITMENT
FIRST AND FOREMOST, WE WANT TO EXPRESS OUR SINCERE CONCERN FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN IMPACTED BY THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19).
FOR MORE THAN 45 YEARS, DEFENSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO GENUINE HOSPITALITY AND TAKING GREAT CARE OF OUR PEOPLE SO THEY CAN TAKE GREAT CARE OF YOU.
THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF OUR STAFF MEMBERS AND GUESTS IS OUR TOP PRIORITY, AND WE ARE APPROACHING THE REOPENING OF OUR OFFICES WITH THAT AS OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLE.
PREPARATIONS ARE UNDER WAY TO BEGIN OPENING A FEW OF OUR OFFICES WITH THE UTMOST CARE BEGINNING JUNE 24TH, WITH SOME OTHERS SCHEDULED FOR THE WEEKS THAT FOLLOW. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU BACK AS OUR CLIENTS AND STUDENTS AND WANTED TO SHARE WITH YOU SOME OF THE ACTIONS WE ARE TAKING.
IN ADDITION TO ALL SAFETY PROCEDURES CURRENTLY IN PLACE FOR OUR OFFICES, WE ARE IMPLEMENTING THE FOLLOWING WHEN OUR OFFICES REOPEN FOR CLASSES:
  • WE REQUIRE ALL PARTICIPANTS TO WEAR A MASK DURING OUR COURSES.
  • DO NOT ATTEND A CLASS IF YOU ARE SICK
  • RECONFIGURING SEATING IN THE CLASSROOM TO MEET SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES
  • USING FLOOR DECALS TO REMIND GUESTS IN OUR LOBBY AND CLASSROOM AREAS TO KEEP TO SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOLS
  • SANITIZING THE CLASSROOMS PRIOR TO EACH SCHEDULED COURSE
  • DOORS WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR CROSS VENTILATION AND FRESH, CLEAN AIR
  • HAVING STAFF SANITIZE ALL HIGH CONTACT AREAS
  • CONTINUING WELLNESS CHECKS OF ALL STAFF MEMBERS BEFORE EACH SHIFT, INCLUDING TEMPERATURE CHECKS WITH A THERMOMETER
  • PROVIDING ALL STAFF AND MANAGERS IN OUR OFFICES WITH PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING MASKS AND GLOVES
  • REINFORCING STAFF HAND WASHING ROUTINELY
  • HAVING HAND SANITIZER AVAILABLE IN OUR LOBBIES, CLASSROOMS AND RESTROOMS FOR GUESTS
  • POSITIONING OUR CREDIT CARD MACHINES SO THAT GUESTS MAY SWIPE THEIR OWN CREDIT CARDS WITHOUT STAFF ASSISTANCE AND ALLOWING FOR CONTACTLESS MOBILE PAYMENT AT THE FRONT DESK WITH THE GUEST’S PERSONAL DEVICE (APPLEPAY OR MOBILE DEVICE FOR INSTRUCTOR PHONES)
  • SANITIZING PENS AFTER GUEST USE.
  • WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE AND CONFIRM ANY PATRONS TEMPERATURE WITH OUR INFRARED THERMOMETER AND DENY SERVICES, WHEREIN PATRON MUST LEAVE THE PREMISES IMMEDIATELY.

  • WE REQUIRE ALL STUDENTS TO WEAR A MASK DURING THEIR PRIVATE ONE-ON-ONE LESSONS
  • ENSURING THAT OUR TEAMS HAVE THE INFORMATION THEY NEED TO REMAIN HEALTHY AND INSTRUCTING THEM TO STAY HOME IF THEY’RE NOT FEELING WELL
  • CLEANING AND SANITIZING ALL DASHBOARD, DOOR HANDLES AND DOOR PANEL SURFACES AFTER EACH USE
  • REQUIRING ALL INSTRUCTORS TO WEAR GLOVES AND MASKS WHEN INTERACTING WITH OUR GUESTS
  • CONSTANT HAND WASHING AND/OR HAND SANITIZING
  • NON-CONTACT INFRARED THERMOMETER TO CHECK EACH STUDENT PRIOR TO EACH LESSON TO MINIMIZE THE RISK OF SPREADING THE VIRUS WHILE STILL BEING ABLE TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO OUR COMMUNITIES
